Job Overview: The Equipment Finance Operations Specialist I supports the Sales team with the creation and preparation of all EFA or Lease documentation for our customers, ensures that all transactions are funded and disbursed correctly, that all documents are filed timely and properly and uploaded onto the core system. This position is responsible for examining the final document package for completeness and accuracy including proper balancing and documentation. The Equipment Finance Operations Specialist works closely with Sales, Transaction Coordinators, Collateral Support, and bank Operations teams. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication and customer service skills, acute attention to detail and the ability to multi-task, working in a fast-paced environment.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Timely and accurate creation and preparation of all documentation for Equipment Finance customers and sources
- Input and confirm the proper information is in the system for booking and funding
- Responsible for ensuring that all documentation is complete, accurate, verified and complies with company policy
- Ensure all approved terms are accurately documented
- Review insurance for adequate coverage
- Act as a liaison and interact with sales, transaction coordinators, and credit staff to ensure all conditions are met
- Review signed documents to ensure all documents are present and have been signed properly and ensure all conditions have been met
- Contact vendors to verify bank information for safe and sound funding
- Work with Great America to facilitate the booking of the transaction
- Work with the bank Operations team to ensure funds are accurately issued to vendors and sources
- Work with the bank Finance team to resolve any posting or balancing concerns
- Facilitate the timely upload of documents onto the core system
- Process contract modifications on existing customers
- Take proactive steps to ensure that follow-up items are received promptly and timely
- Answer incoming calls on Ring Central
- UCC filing support
- Fedex, UPS and mail support
- Application entry support
- Work with insurance third party vendor as needed
- Maintain processing procedures in accordance with industry standards and bank policies.
- Follow bank policy, state and federal regulations and other prudent lending and business practices
- Ensure all goals and departmental service standards are met
- Present suggestions on efficiency improvements for the department
- Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Post-secondary degree preferred but if not, minimum of 3 years similar work experience
Pay Range: $22.00-$25.00/hour. Starting pay is determined based on several factors, which can include the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic area.
