Job Overview: The Staff Auditor will work directly with the Compliance Officer and Internal Auditor to provide support in the administration of the bank’s compliance and internal audit program that is consistent with regulatory requirements and expectations, as well as bank policy. This position will aid in the internal audit process and make recommendations for improving and strengthening internal controls and operating procedures.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acquires knowledge of banking laws and regulations and assists with the analysis and interpretation of regulatory compliance requirements.
- Conducts quality control reviews of loan files to ensure adherence to bank policies and regulatory requirements
- Performs assigned audits, evaluates internal controls, identifies risks, and verifies compliance with laws, regulations, bank policies and procedures
- Communicates results on areas audited as to performance, reliability of accounting and effectiveness of internal controls
- Assists the Internal Auditor with exception tracking, reporting, and may work directly with employees up to the level of Senior Management to ensure resolution
- Assists with the administration of the bank wide online compliance training program and prepares progress reports for management, regulatory agencies, or others as needed
- Assists with monitoring the bank policy review schedule and track policy changes
- Conducts research and provides recommendations regarding questions received from bank employees
- Completes other duties as assigned in a timely and accurate manner
- Required to travel between multiple bank branches as needed to complete work

- Fiserv DNA and LaserPro experience preferred
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of post-secondary education, business or finance preferred
- 1-2 years of related experience and/or training
Pay Range: $20.00-$26.00/hour. Starting pay is determined based on several factors, which can include the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic area.
