Job Overview: Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer (COO), the Lending Systems Administrator, is a key role within the Operations Department. The primary responsibility is to provide support for lending systems to ensure that our lending systems are providing solutions to the business as well as being fully utilized. This position also serves, as a liaison between IT and various departments to facilitate the implementation of business requirements related to the lending systems. This includes serving as a technical resource during the discovery, testing, change management, and post-implementation support phases of projects. The Lending Systems Administrator will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help the business make good technological decisions. This role will also be responsible for technical support of change management and process improvement opportunities, as well as other duties to support the overall operations of Falcon National Bank.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administration and oversight of day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, reporting, and overall improvement of Lending systems to include Abrigo, Aurora, Laser Pro and any other system that touches the Lending process
  • Collaborate with lending staff to optimize system processes, reduce loan origination times, and help manage credit risk with effective monitoring and reporting tools
  • Identify and assist in implementation of processes that will streamline the loan approval process, automate loan data capture, enhance credit decision workflow, and support loan growth initiatives
  • Ensure accurate data integration, proper user setup, and security in lending systems
  • Identify and resolve end user problems in an effective and timely manner
  • Collaborate with Information Technology and business units to deliver integrated, seamless banking experiences
  • Ensure all lending systems activities align with applicable regulatory requirements and internal compliance frameworks
  • Monitor system performance and user feedback to proactively identify and address opportunities for optimization
  • Implement and complete all lending system upgrades
  • Maintain complete documentation instructions for daily, monthly and yearly processes with all lending applications
  • Research, implement, test, and review new products and features
  • Streamline and standardize processes within the core and network environment
  • Assist with daily, monthly, and annual duties within the lending system processes
  • Respond to user inquiries and system alerts, providing timely resolutions to application challenges
  • Create and maintain documentation for application configurations, processes, and operational procedures
  • Create and maintain reports for various departments

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or other business-related degree;
  • Minimum of four years of related experience at a bank or other financial institution; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Experience in Application Management, Testing, Project Management, Change Management, and Release Management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the banking core business process and operations

Pay Range: $70k-95k year. Starting pay is determined based on several factors, which can include the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic area.
