POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, Manage, and Hold a team of Business Development Officers accountable for set growth targets. (Deposits, Treasury Management Products, and Lending Referrals.)
- Generate Non-Interest deposits and Treasury Management Products through municipalities, non-profits, and commercial clients.
- Be a champion for change, always looking for ways to better serve our customers and communities.
- Emulate our company values of RISE. (Relationships, Integrity, Solutions/Service, and Execution.)
- Train front line staff and lenders to drive referrals to the Treasury Management Team.
- Be engaged in the communities we serve through Non-profit and community advocacy boards.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, external centers of influence (COi), and external consulting organizations
- Demonstrate strong selling and negotiation skills
- Maintain an ongoing commitment to staying current and fully understanding relevant industry trends with the ability to apply them in complex client solutioning opportunities and helping clients see the connection to treasury solutions proposed
- Understand the competitions' capabilities and gaps, and how to position Falcon National Banks Treasury Services against them
- In collaboration with Market Presidents and Business Bankers, manage relationships with existing clients to ensure proper servicing and structure of accounts and to expand existing business
- Create strategic dialogues around key client-centric issues, incorporating best practices, peer benchmarking, industry data analytics, ROI quantification and solution positioning
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the treasury management department
- Leverage Salesforce to track, refer, and cross-sell to prospects and clients
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Possess knowledge and understanding of Treasury Services products, credit process, and pricing philosophy
- Advanced knowledge of banking legal and regulatory environment
- Demonstrates strong selling and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex treasury, investment, and accounting information to the board of directors and executive staff
- Goal and Service oriented
- Ability to create lasting relationships while generating new ideas, identifying, and driving the development of new business
- Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates strong management, organizational, and planning skills
- Possesses strategic thinking skills
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- 8-10 years of Treasury Management Sales and Service experience
- 8-10 years of Team Lead, Management, Accountability experience (LMA)
- Treasury Management Certification
- Demonstrated expertise in financial industry
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
