At Falcon National Bank our employees are our greatest differentiator and competitive advantage in the markets we serve.  We are committed to building relationships with our customers to provide them with service that soars above the rest.  Our customers interact with our Retail Banking team more than any other employee.  That is why we are looking for an experienced, professional Retail Banking Lead who is looking to not only grow in their role but also provide the outstanding service that our customers deserve.  The Retail Banking Lead will report to the Retail Banking Supervisor.  This role will be responsible for leading the retail team's day-to-day activities, specifically when the Retail Banking Supervisor can not be onsite.  This is a great opportunity for any current Retail Banker to step into a leadership role at Falcon National Bank.  

The Retail Banking Lead is also responsible for expanding existing customer relationships and establishing new customer relationships by fulfilling the customer’s sales, service, and transactional needs. This position will assist in the implementation and training of daily processes and make recommendations for process improvements. The Retail Banking Lead will also be a mentor and assist in the training of new hires to the department. 

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively seeks opportunities to bring in new, or additional, deposit and loan dollars.
  • Independently manages business development and customer outreach initiatives to achieve sales goals.
  • Acts in a leadership capacity when Supervisor is not available.
  • Assists others with complex deposit account requests and relevant services.
  • Acts as a mentor and helps train new hires in the department.
  • Actively participates in customer outreach initiatives and community events.  
  • Performs all duties listed in the Retail Banker job description.
  • Provide coverage for other locations, as necessary.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience with Microsoft products and Bank software products.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible, self-motivated.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize as needed.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
  • Post-secondary education or three years related work experience
