Position Description
The Leasing Specialist reports to the Vice President of Leasing and is responsible for all aspects of the leasing process which includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Assist VP of Leasing in building and managing commercial leasing portfolio
  • Develops and maintains knowledge of leasing industry, economy, market conditions, rates, vendors and competition
  • Take incoming customer and dealer calls and answer questions or respond to the needs of the caller
  • Handles transactions associated with supporting dealer business (i.e. creating documents)
  • Develops new vendor relationships, including extensive cold calling by phone
  • Communicates decisions to vendors with appropriate documented paperwork and makes sure equipment prices out
  • Computes upgrade/buyout quotes and communicates them to dealers as needed
  • Reviews signed documents for accurate information and compliance with Falcon National Bank Leasing policies and procedures
  • Confirm accuracy of customer information with third party sources
  • Phone verifies equipment satisfaction with customers and answers any questions during the call
  • Input data accurately
  • Communicate via phone or email with dealers to resolve documentation issues
  • General knowledge of Falcon National Bank’s products, and involved in cross-selling Falcon National Bank products
  • This position would involve cross training and an understanding of other functions to support customer needs
  • Represents the bank in various community, civic, and community functions to further enhance the bank’s leasing image, and to develop additional business

Other duties will be assigned as required to ensure that the bank is meeting customer expectations and that all commercial leasing activities are in compliance with bank policy, state and federal regulations, and other prudent lending and business practices.

  • 2 years of post-secondary education; business or finance preferred
  • Experience preferred in leasing or finance
